Norman Ballet Company’s mission is to give professional performing experience to young, aspiring dancers throughout central Oklahoma. Since 1984, the Company has produced, in addition to The Oklahoma Nutcracker, originally choreographed ballets such as Cinderella, The Firebird, and Coppelia among many others. The Norman Ballet Company also sponsors workshops for young ballerinas and community programs such as spring 2004 The Little Dancer, a dance portrayal of Degas’ famous sculpture.
